We want to ensure that farmers are the forefront of our wool project. We want to achieve an active role in UK manufacturing and supply chain. Our Welsh Wool Company aims are to create a relationship between traditional manufacturers and farmers to add value to a very special primary source; wool. We do this by building relationships between farmers, shearers, traditional manufactures and industry. We believe in building friendships of skills, talented and passionate people.
Welsh Wool Company will assist farmers through the shearing program from washing, carding & spinning, creating a connection between farmers and industry. Brands can use our project as a source of yarn to manufacturers in the UK.
We offer bespoke sourcing from project farmers, bespoke design, and a % of the final sale goes back to the farmer. We offer advice on manufacturing that can help both parties in the future.
