Wool
Our wool goods are of the highest quality as we pay attention to the animals' needs and welfare. Wool is naturally breathable, moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating, helping to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
An environmentally-friendly material, it is both a renewable fibre source and biodegradable. It is best after being worn in so it’s shape can adapt to it’s wearer or new home.
Wool’s ability to resist creases and odours means it shouldn’t need to be washed much, but if needed, hand wash gently in cool water and leave to dry flat.
Clothes Doctor’s Wool Detergent works wonders as a gentle, PH-neutral eco-wash, scented with Himalayan cedarwood and orange oil to repel moths. As a further moth repellent, we recommend the Knitwear Mist by Clothes Doctor, refreshing wool products.
Wool can develop pilling with wear. Our 100% natural pumice Sweater Stone gently removes fuzz, bobbles and knots from knits without causing damage or leaving any residue.
Mending
Truly loved pieces may develop holes or tears after many wears. We offer Darning Kits to extend the life of your favourite pieces.
