Curated Collection, Blankets

As part of our seasonal offerings, we have curated a collection of blankets woven in North Wales, made with British wool.

Always inspired by the land and the seasons, we’ve been watching our hedgerows grow into miniature ecosystems. After planting new hedgerows lining our home meadow last autumn, it’s astounding to see that they’ve already grown into a lively habitat for abundant wildlife, providing safety to many creatures from top to bottom.

Our Hedgerows Blanket follows this concept. The hedgerows provide comfort and a nesting place to many, as we hope our blanket can too.

The Hedgerows Blanket weaves together recycled yarns to create a subtle marl effect of tonal grey hues in durable yet soft wool. Looking closely, changes in colour and texture are noticeable, as with the hedgerows lining our farm. Thick and dense, the rows combine blackberries, knapweed and foxgloves, noticed more when we look closely.

Looking back through old family photo albums, we wanted to represent rustic and eclectic vintage farmhouse textiles, showcasing a blanket mixing traditional rural patterns with a muted 70s colour palette.

Our pure wool checked blanket features earthy tones of moss green, golden honey, smokey turq and lavender in a classic check. Transitional and seasonless, it has a comforting and grounded feel in the weight and soft texture.

As the seasons change, so do our home meadows. It’s exciting to witness the fleeting changes of flora, inspiring us to capture it.

We have released a stripe blanket in hues drawn from the flora of our spring meadows, seeing summery Marigold and Calendula oranges and yellows paired with a fresh salty turquoise.

The meadows are a favourite place of ours to picnic in the spring and summer months, dining amongst the scents of fresh grass and sea salt, so our blanket is made from hardy recycled wool designed for outdoor living.
