Monkstone Meadows
This Spring we launched sister brand, Monkstone Meadows, a platform to share our seasonal produce.
The land here at Trevayne Farm provides inspiration all year round, as we take in the changing of colours, scents and accept the offerings that the land gives us. Summer gave us an abundance of flowers; sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias, calendula which we supplied in bouquets to local businesses. Tomatoes, runner beans, courgettes and cucumbers grew aplenty, feeding our team as well as stocking our own farm shop and nearby stores.
We keep native breed cattle, pigs and sheep on the farm, letting them graze the meadows and forage in the woodland. Working with Travis Brown, our local butcher, we supply grass fed, pasture raised meat, selling online and in our on-site farm shop, which will continue on from the summer into the colder months.
As the business grows, we are excited to see how farming, gardening and floristry increasingly influences our design process at Monkstone.
