Collaboration: Hag of the Mist x Monkstone

We are proud to collaborate with Hag of the Mist on a soap and shampoo bar using ingredients gathered from our meadows.

Hag of the Mist is a one-woman, slow-made body care brand based close to our farm in rural West Wales. The brand is rooted in folklore and seasonal rhythms, with its name influenced by the mythical figure Gwrach y Rhibyn, the Hag of the Mist. Each product is handmade in small batches, using only natural ingredients which are often grown, foraged or sourced locally.

The Calendula Soap Block is made using our own calendula hand-picked from the garden, known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant effects, used to soothe skin irritation and promote healing. It also uses honey, a natural humectant that draws moisture in, and beeswax from our hives. Lily combines our ingredients with goat’s milk, rich in lactic acid, which gently exfoliates for smoother skin, plus vitamins A, B6, B12, and E to nourish and protect. Its soothing fats help lock in moisture, and its pH is close to our own skin — meaning it cleanses without throwing things out of balance.

The Sea Salt Shampoo Bar is inspired by our coastal position, with our farm set on the headland of the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline. The sea is the constant backdrop to our days farming in the meadows, designing in the studio or picking in the poly tunnel, whilst surrounded by fresh salty air. Celtic sea salt softly lifts and texturises the hair while soaking the scalp in trace minerals that support circulation and balance. Blended with cleansing blue clay, and calming blue chamomile.
