Black Welsh Mountain Collection

Our Black Welsh Mountain collection celebrates our native breed flock, the hardiest of sheep to graze the Pembrokeshire pastures. Made from 100% traceable pure Welsh Wool sourced from our own Monkstone flock at Trevayne Farm, the collection promotes quality, sustainability and craftsmanship, creating heirloom pieces to last.

The collection features blankets and cushions in deep earth tones of the Black Welsh Mountain breed, offset against a creamy shade of Pure Dorset yarn. The products showcase the soft yet dense texture and warmth of the breed’s fleece.

Each blanket is handcrafted in small batches by traditional makers at The Bristol Weaving Mill.

In the hills, Black Welsh Mountain sheep creep,
With fleece dark as night, their soft bleats sweep.
From rugged pastures, sturdy frames stand,
Each horn tells tales of storms and land. 

They roam valleys, strong and proud,
Beneath mist that weaves lore unbowed.
In small flocks, under moonlight bright,
Guardians of tradition, preserving their right.
