This summer, our new farm shop truly came into its own, welcoming lots of new faces to Trevayne Farm. We’ve loved seeing our space become a place for people to gather, whether catching up over coffee or joining us for one of our events, from book clubs to flower workshops.
We’re incredibly grateful to the community that has grown around us and have loved sharing the seasonal harvests of our land with you. From Den’s seemingly endless supply of tomatoes to Anna’s beautiful sweet pea blooms, the gardens have been generous this year.
Whilst seeing our farm shop through its first summer, we also took on an exciting new project with lots of painting involved, opening another store in our nearby town of Tenby. Block & Larder is a collaborative general store stocking local and organic produce alongside our home-grown flowers and Monkstone wares. Find Monkstone’s store on the first floor, with one of the best views in Tenby.
In August, we took Monkstone to the National Eisteddfod, feeling proud to display our Welsh-made products and meet like-minded people who understand the importance of Welsh wool, heritage craft and local production.
As the seasons begin to turn, we’re reflecting on a summer full of sunshine, new friendships and shared moments. Thank you to everyone who has visited, supported us and become part of our growing community. With two new hosting spaces, we are planning exciting events and can’t wait to see what the new season brings.
