The Dutch Barn Collection

Our latest homeware collection is a woven doublecloth that takes notes from traditional Welsh blankets, with symmetrical motifs in a structural design based on the shape of our Dutch barn here on the farm. The Dutch barn is the iconic hub of the yard, always occupied by laying hens and noisy ducks, straw for the farm, recycled hops from a local brewery for the pigs. It is the meeting place for the farmhands and sometimes houses lambs.

Made with our flock’s pure Dorset and Coloured Dorset yarn in calming oatmeal, greys and natural tones. As the yarn is completely natural, colours differ based on time of shearing and the weather of the year, making each piece unique.

With sustainability in mind, the 100% pure Welsh wool from our Monkstone flock is hardy and long-lasting, and woven by The Bristol Weaving Mill, meaning the blanket totals just 163 fashion miles from farm to factory.
